Your First Visit

1. For the safety of all pets in the clinic, all pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. If you do not have a carrier for your pet, please contact us ahead of time, and we may be able to loan you a carrier for your appointment.

2. Bring records from your previous veterinarian. If you do not have these, let us know, and we will call and request them for you.

3. Prepare any questions you wish to ask of the doctor. This ensures nothing you want to ask is forgotten.

4. Be prepared to answer basic questions about your pet’s health history, such as type of food and amount, urination and defecation habits, changes in behavior or activity level, etc.

4. If possible, bring fresh samples with you for testing. We recommend annual fecal parasite screening and urinalysis for older patients.

6. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your appointment to allow time for check-in and completion of registration forms.
